Greetings from Lagos.
Dublin seems so very long ago, so the thought of blogging about things i've done seems ludacris! So I will wait until home. This trip has been just great, in terms of learning about myself and how I work and what I am like etc. I am proud to be the person I am, I feel mature and capable and happy in my own skin which is very cool. There have been moments, but it is done now and I feel good about being here, and good about going home which is a nice balance to have.
We are on another bus trip to Lisbon today which will be nothing compared to the one we had to Lagos (Lagos???) which was long and funny and felt like groundhog day 25 times over. It is friday morning here and monday morning we do another flight, and it is back to London. I liked London a lot so it will be nice to be there again, albeit for just a day. Stay with Alison and Ryan, and Tuesday it is back home to Aus. How strange that such an epic trip that we were counting down for and so excited for is over, well almost. At least it has been everything we expected, plus great new friends, a new outlook, a fresh perspective, the realisation you are not the whole world, letting go a bit, funny funny funny funny stories and a whole array of new boyfriends haha including Turtlebrow.
Home will be awesome, but just staying at home haha not leaving for a while. It will be too comfortable, and too clean and too refreshing.
