The world forgetting, by the world forgot. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind! Each prayer accepted, and each wish resigned.
I would never choose to forget, because once the appropriate amount of time has passed you just have lovely memories and an understanding of how you have turned out the way you have. It's an interesting thought though to try and pick things that have happened that you would block out of your memory completely, I have a couple but they're not so bad when I think about not ever remembering them again, if that makes any sense at all!
I love Shaun Micallef too much, this is amazingly funny
It turns out I now have to blog for uni as well, that will be in relation to the actual course content but should anything actually interesting pop up I will be sure to put it in this blog as well. Surely something of interest will come up through this semester of pain. I'm on the home stretch of my university career and i'm finding it an intense amount of effort to get into it, I have absolutely no interest in going, except that the uni gang are there. Imagine if I had no uni pals, how difficult things would be then. Life is just too sweet at the moment, and it feels as though the hours that I'm in the lectures or tutes are just taking up precious time I could be using to actually do things. I now have all the skills and knowledge I needed from the course and am ready to take on the real world, but HOW? If only there were a class that would tell you exactly how to get what you want and become a legend at life, stat. Shaun Micallef would surely be the head of the department.

your confusion, my illusion
Oh joy! Almost a month since I blogged last which seems to have been no time at all. It's crazy how fast the weeks are flying by. I've had a long winded uni holiday, met lots of new people, started a new thing at the radio station, holiday-ed to Brisbane to catch up with disciples and returned to uni and it feels like no time has passed. If it is indeed the case that time flies whilst having fun, then it's ringing true for me.
Loads of great things are happening for me at the moment, and I'm going to put it down to a positive attitude, a clean slate, taking chances when they're given to me and spontaneity. It's great when you take a chance on something that could either be a flop or may open up a new exciting aspect to your life. I have a new, slight sense of self confidence but it's along the lines of Bill Murray's lovely compliment in lost in translation, You're Not Hopeless.
In order to show off Australia's incredibly talented indigenous folk we should start with this man and this song.
Gurrumul Yunupingu who has been blind since birth plays the guitar and has a voice that is completely haunting and absolutely enthralling. It's beautiful stuff and authentic Australian music that should be celebrated!
With thoughts of lovely music, blackbooks, shaun micallef, tea and money making tomorrow, I shall retire but I will return sooner than the last break! And hopefully feeling as wonderful as I do now.
